GCS is looking for a skilled Network Engineer (L2) to join our growing team. If you are passionate about designing and optimizing network infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues, and working with cutting-edge technologies, this role is for you!

Onsite Lahore / Multan | Full-Time | US-Central Time Hours
Shift: Night (6 PM 3 AM PKT)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions for small to medium projects.

• Configure and maintain Fortinet/Cisco firewalls, switches, and routers.

• Troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple layers.

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance and reliability.

• Maintain accurate network diagrams and documentation.

• Implement and manage VPNs, VLANs, and QoS policies.

• Perform firmware upgrades and security patching.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.

What You Should Bring

• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).

• Experience with VLAN segmentation, trunking, and VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL).

• Proficiency in firewall policy creation and NAT rules.

• Understanding of network security best practices & compliance standards.

• Hands-on experience with CLI and GUI management of Fortinet & Cisco devices.

• Familiarity with troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, traceroute, ping, etc.).

Certifications (Required)

• Mid-level certification in Fortinet (NSE 5-6) or Cisco (CCNP).

• Fortinet certification strongly preferred.
